Satin tags

Satin is a material woven from a synthetic polymer. It is deliberately woven so that one side is perfectly smooth, glossy and suitable for thermal transfer printing. The other half has a coarser surface. This is an extremely durable material. Used for the garment tag, it will be softer and more pleasant than nylon.

Satin tag production and printing

Sublimation printing is often used to produce satin tags. This method of printing satin tags guarantees long-lasting colour fastness and use – the colours are vivid and rich. Even the smallest image elements are clearly visible on the smooth surface.

This type of clothing label is recommended for use when in direct contact with the skin. The edges disintegrate during cold cutting, so the tags are sewn on both sides.

What is the lead time for orders?

For quantities up to 1000 pieces, 2-3 business days after payment receipt and design approval. For quantities of 1000 pieces and more, approximately 2 weeks after payment receipt and design approval.

What is the minimum order quantity?

For one-color printing, the minimum order is 100 tags. For two or more colors, the minimum order is 500 tags.

What sizes of tags are available?

The minimum width is 10mm, and the maximum width is 50mm. Increments of 5mm. Length can be adjusted as needed.

What are the available printing and satin colors?

Various printing and satin colors are available. Please email us at info@tipografijas or call us at 27863280, and we will send you a color catalog.

How and where can I receive my order?

Orders can be picked up at our office located at Lāčplēša Street 70, Riga. Alternatively, we can ship via Omniva parcel machines, courier (e.g., Omniva, Itella or another), or by post.

What are the delivery costs?

Omniva parcel machine – 7.26 EUR. Courier delivery from 12.10 EUR (depends on the package size and weight)

What file format is needed for printing?

A vector PDF format file is required for printing, sized to the dimensions of the tag. More information here: https://birki.lv/tehniskas-prasibas/. If needed, we can assist with design layout. Design layout starts from 20 EUR + VAT.
