Conditions for preparing the tag layout

The layout is one of the main prerequisites for the production of tags. The layout must be accurate so that the tag is the right size with the intended font and font size. Please note that safety gaps must be left in the layout. The layout is created in a suitable vector format so that it can then be printed on the material.

  1. Mockup in vector format (.pdf, .ai, .cdr).
  2. If we make the layout, the logo must be sent in vector PDF format.
  3. For satin tags cut with a cold knife, an extra 5 mm of each edge must be left for sewing in.
  4. Safety clearance – the distance from the visible edges of the tag to the logo or text – at least 2-3 mm.
  5. Space from the place of folding to the logo or text must be 2-3 mm .
  6. It is preferable not to save a file with automatic crop marks and bleeds.
  7. The font size of the logo must be at least 7 pt (depending on the font).
  8. When ordering tags, please write down how you intend to stitch the tag.
