Textile tags for clothing are an indispensable element of garments and textile products. The main purpose of the tag is to provide the buyer with maximum information about the product, the manufacturer, its features, as well as recommendations for use. Textile tags are produced using thermal transfer printing on satin, polyester, polyamide or nylon.

Textile Tag Printing

Printing and manufacturing of textile tags require special conditions. The print on labels must be very durable, as they will be washed and ironed along with the laundry or clothing, and thus non-durable ink can quickly wear out. Therefore, special dyes are used for printing on fabric tapes, which withstand high temperatures, moisture, and are not damaged by using detergents.

The design of textile tags is developed with the help of our professional designers. We also manufacture tags based on individual layouts – you can submit your idea or a ready-made design print, and we will help implement it.
To highlight your product with a tag, you need to choose appropriate fonts, colors, and layout of elements. The tag can feature the company logo or manufacturer’s trademark, as well as other important information. But the main goal is to mark the composition of the garment and recommendations for its care.

What is the lead time for orders?

For satin, nylon, polyester, and polyamide tags in quantities up to 1000 pieces, the lead time is 2-3 working days after payment receipt and design approval. For satin, nylon, polyester, and polyamide tags in quantities of 1000 or more, it is approximately 2 weeks after payment receipt and design approval. For cotton tags, the production time is about 2 weeks after payment receipt and design approval. For Jacquard tags, the lead time is approximately 3-4 weeks after payment receipt and design approval.

What is the minimum order quantity?

For satin, nylon, polyester, and polyamide tags with single-color printing, the minimum order is 100 tags. For two or more color printing, the minimum order is 500 tags. For Jacquard and cotton tags, the minimum order is 500 tags.

What tag sizes are available?

The minimum width is 10mm, maximum width is 50mm, in increments of 5mm. Length can be adjusted as needed. There are no size limits for Jacquard tags.

What printing colors are available?

Various printing colors and Jacquard thread colors are available. Please email us at info@tipografijas or call us at 27863280 and we will send you a color catalog.

How and where can I receive my order?

Orders can be picked up at our office at Lāčplēša iela 70, Riga. Alternatively, we can ship via Omniva parcel machines, courier (e.g., Omniva, Itella, or another), or by mail.

What are the delivery costs?

Omniva parcel machine – 7.26 EUR. Courier delivery from 12.10 EUR (depending on the package size and weight)

What file format is needed for printing?

A vector PDF file in the size of the tag is required for printing. More information here: https://birki.lv/tehniskas-prasibas/. If needed, we can assist with design development. Design development from 20 EUR + VAT
