Textile tags for clothing are an indispensable element of clothing and textiles. The main purpose of the tag is to provide the buyer with maximum information about the product, the manufacturer, the characteristics of the product and recommendations for use. The textile tag is produced by thermal transfer printing on satin, polyester, polyamide or nylon.

Textile tag printing

The printing and production of textile tags requires specific conditions. The printing on the labels must be very durable, as they will need to be washed and ironed with the laundry or clothes, so inks that are not durable can wear off quickly. This means that when printing on fabric ribbons, special dyes are used that withstand high heat and humidity and are not damaged by detergents.

Text tag design

The design of the textile tags is developed with the help of our professional designers. We also produce tags to your individual design – you can submit your idea or a ready-made print and we’ll help you bring it to life.
To make your tag stand out, you need to choose the right fonts, colours and layout. The tag can display the company logo or the manufacturer’s trademark, as well as other important information. But the main purpose is to note the composition of the garment and advice on how to care for the product.

What is the production time for Textile Tags orders?

For satin, nylon, polyester, and polyamide tags in quantities up to 1000 pieces, the production time is 2-3 working days after payment and design approval. For orders of 1000 pieces or more, the approximate production time is 2 weeks after payment and design approval. For cotton tags, the production time is around 2 weeks after payment and design approval. For Jacquard tags, the production time is approximately 3-4 weeks, around 2 weeks after payment and design approval.

What is the minimum order quantity?

For satin, nylon, polyester, and polyamide tags with single-color printing, the minimum order is 100 tags. For two or more colors printing, the minimum order is 500 tags. For Jacquard and cotton tags, the minimum order quantity is 500 tags.

What tag sizes are available?

The minimum width is 10mm, and the maximum width is 50mm, with increments of 5mm. The length can be customized as needed. There are no size restrictions for Jacquard tags.

What printing colors are available?

How and where can I receive my order?

Orders can be picked up at our office located at Lāčplēša Street 70, Riga. Alternatively, we can send orders via Omniva parcel machines, courier services (e.g., Omniva, Itella, or others), or by mail.

What are the delivery costs?

Omniva parcel machine – 7.26 EUR. Courier delivery starts from 12.10 EUR (depending on the package size and weight).

What file format is required for printing?

A vector PDF format file is required for printing, sized to the tag dimensions. More information can be found here: https://birki.lv/tehniskas-prasibas/. If needed, we can assist with design layout. Design layout starts from 20 EUR + VAT.
