Making nylon tags

Nylon tags can be produced on a textile tape base. Textile tape made of nylon is very light, durable and denser than polyester-satin tape, so it does not lose its properties when washed or bleached.

Nylon tag printing

Nylon is a synthetic polymer fabric impregnated with a special compound that reduces static electricity during tag printing and fills in surface irregularities, making the surface of the textile ribbon as smooth as paper. It’s easy to print high-quality images and text on this surface.

The nylon ribbon is double-sided, so nylon tags can be printed on both sides and in several colours. If the tag is thermally printed, we offer one-colour printing. Cut the ribbon to the desired size with a cold knife – the edges of the tag will not fall apart during cold cutting, which allows you to sew it behind only one edge without fear of the tag coming apart over time.

Nylon tags are designed with the help of our professional designers. We also produce nylon tags to your individual design – you can submit your idea or a ready-to-print design and we’ll help you make it happen.
To make your tag stand out, you need to choose the right fonts, colours and layout. The nylon tag can be branded with the company logo or manufacturer’s trademark, as well as other important information. But the main purpose is to note the composition of the garment and advice on how to care for the product.

What is the turnaround time for an order?

For quantities up to 1000 pieces, 2-3 business days after payment and design confirmation. For quantities over 1000 pieces, approximately 2 weeks after payment and design confirmation.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity is 100 tags for single-color printing. For two or more colors, the minimum order is 500 tags.

What tag sizes are available?

The minimum width is 10mm, and the maximum width is 50mm, in increments of 5mm. The length can be adjusted as needed.

What printing colors are available?

Various printing colors are available. Please email us at info@tipografijas.lv or call us at +37127863280, and we will send you our color catalog.

How and where can I receive my order?

Orders can be collected at our office located at Lāčplēša iela 70, Riga. Alternatively, we can send it via Omniva parcel machines, courier service (e.g., Omniva, Itella, or another), or by post.

What are the delivery costs?

Omniva parcel machine – 7.26 EUR. Courier delivery from 12.10 EUR (depends on the package size and weight)

What file format is required for printing?

A vector PDF file in the size of the tag is required for printing. More information here: https://birki.lv/tehniskas-prasibas/. We can help with the design layout if needed. Layout design from 20 EUR + VAT
